Distant Towers, summer 2012 update
Distant Towers new CD update.....
The 3rd CD from Distant Towers is going to be released later this year (hopefully in early October). The name of the CD is "A Detailed Account of a Random Occurrence" or DARO for short. The CD covers the last songs written and recorded with drummer Robbie Brunjes (now currently recording with his band NEON). It also features a guest appearance from drummer Frank McVeigh (Hello--Alternate version and Broken Foe). There will be nine songs in total on the CD including Distant Tower's first instrumental track called "27 You're Not Readable".
The material for Distant Tower's 4th CD is already recorded and that CD is tentatively scheduled to be released sometime in 2013. All material on the 4th CD features our drummer, Preston Richardson.
A new Distant Tower's website is being designed at this time and we hope to have it ready by the end of this summer. It will allow viewers to watch videos, listen to songs, see pictures and purchase Distant Towers CDs.
We thank all you folks who have helped critique our music, listened to our music, watched our videos and purchased our CDs.
Preston's studio will be down for a bit this summer and we are going to take a break from writing new songs until the 3rd CD has been sent for mastering. After that we will start writing songs for what could be a 5th CD.
